The Paya Lebar Methodist Girl’s School dates back to 1917, when it was founded in the Hougang area of Singapore for Forestwood Residences CDL. There are actually two schools based on the same grounds, the primary school having around 1,650 students, and the secondary school having roughly another Orchard Boulevard Condo 1,350 pupils. The Methodist church purchased the land the schools are built on in 1916, and the original building opened its doors to 24 pupils the following year.
